Bangladesh Test tour of Sri Lanka called off
The Bangladesh Test tour of Sri Lanka has been called off.
“We have told them that we could reschedule it to a time when things have improved,” said BCB chief Nazmul Hassan.
Sri Lanka’s insistence on 14-days mandatory quarantine is the main reason for the call-off, according to Bangladesh journalist Mohamed Isam.
Sri Lanka has not played International Cricket since February and the series scheduled against England, South Africa, India and Bangladesh have got postponed due to the Covid19 situation.
