192 Covid patients identified from Borella in last 24 hrs
192 covid patients were detected from Borella in the Colombo district within the last 24 hours ending at 06.00 am today.
The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 (NOCPC) said among the 371 patients detected in the Colombo district yesterday, a majority of the patients were detected from Borella.
According to the NOCPC, infected inmates from the Welikada prison are also among those detected in Borella.
Stating that several housing schemes in Borella are still under lockdown, the Centre said patients were also identified from these housing schemes after being subjected to PCR tests recently.
