A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death with a pair of scissors in Jodhpur India and informed the police and his in-laws about the incident, on Monday, accordig to Indian media reports

According to the police, the couple had a heated argument Sunday night and the 35 year old Vikram Singh killed his 30 year old wife Shiv Kanwar

When the police reached the murder site, Singh was found playing video game on his mobile phone, while his wife lay in a pool of blood in a room.

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The fights between the couple has been mainly due to Singh being unemployed

"The accused was not doing anything, while his wife was making ends meet at home," the police said.

On the day of the incident, Singh picked up a pair of scissors and repeatedly stabbed his wife.

The couple has two children, and they were not present in the house at the time of the incident.
