Former MP Vijayakala's case adjourned till March next year
Colombo Chief Magistrate Mohamed Nihar today (01) adjourned the case filed against former parliamentarian Vijayakala Maheswaran, until March 19.
The case was filed regarding her statement made at a public meeting stating that the LTTE should be re-established.
The case was filed by the Organized Crime Prevention Division in the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court in 2018 following a complaint received regarding the statement made by the Member of Parliament at a meeting held at Weerasinghe Hall in Jaffna in 2018.
