Two young people killed at Wijerama Junction in Nugegoda in a tragic accident
Two young people a male and female in their early 20's were killed in a road accident at Wijerama Junction in Nugegoda on the High Level Road.
The police stated that the accident took place when a motorcycle traveling from Wijerama Junction towards Maharagama collided with a SLTB bus last evening.
The motorcyclist who was trying to overtake the bus had lost control and had fallen on the road and met with the accident.
The deceased have been identified as a 23 year old resident of Matugama and a 22 year old resident of Welimada.
